How Yogantra Came to Life
In 2017, my journey to India changed everything.
I discovered that wellness isn’t a goal to chase—it’s a way of being.
The name Yogantra comes from the Sanskrit word yantra—a tool or instrument. Yogantra is my way of offering practical tools to help people come back to themselves—through mindful movement, breath, and compassionate practice.
What began as donation-based community classes has evolved into a hybrid wellness space offering:

Meet Marcela
Your Guide on This Journey
Hi, I’m Marcela—Founder, Wellness Guide, and Lifelong Student.
With over 10 years of experience in yoga and a background in exercise physiology, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life—corporate professionals, caregivers, expectant mothers, and those navigating injury or stress.
What I’ve learned along the way:
- Movement is medicine.
- Mindfulness is empowerment.
I’ve led wellness programs for Coca-Cola executives and supported hospital teams in Broward County. And still—my greatest passion is helping each person build a meaningful connection with themselves.
